Some info about your photosession with me:

My photoshoots usually last between one and two hours. I don't impose a time limit as such because children will often want a change of pace, perhaps a snack and a cuddle with mum. My aim is to make the photoshoot itself fun and relaxed so there is no stress for any of us.

I like to keep things simple and honest.
I am not a studio photographer and I don't bring a mobile studio with me. Using only natural light does give me some technical challenges but I truly believe it enables me to capture images that show real feelings.
I take some time to get to know you before I start photographing, and then I let the photoshoot unfold naturally. I don't demand big smiles or leaps in the air, and please don't instruct your child to say 'cheese'. I am very happy to capture your child's shy sideways glance or tentative smile because that is authentic, and usually after a short time I see the wider smiles and open expressions that arrive when a new friendship has been made.
If you would like to include the family pet in your photos I'm happy with that, I also love to photograph horses with their owners or at liberty.

After your photoshoot I assess each image and edit them in the digital equivalent of the darkroom. About 2 weeks after your photoshoot I will have at least 20-30 (often more) finished images for you to view, they will also be uploaded into your own password protected gallery.

There is no obligation to buy anything.

I try to live as sustainable a life as I can reasonably manage so you may find that I have reused packaging material if I post anything to you.

For many years now I have been a fully insured and qualified member of the Guild of Photographers.
